THE ground-breaking sports arm of a top North-East law firm has enhanced its growing reputation after one of its most promising footballer clients gained his first England under-21 international call-up.
Everton midfielder Dan Gosling has been with BHP Law’s in-house sports management and representation division since he burst onto the scene with impressive performances for Plymouth Argyle.
And the 19-year-old capped a fine start to this season by making his England under-21 debut against Portugal at Wembley. He has already represented his country at under-17, under-18 and under-19 levels.
His rise through the ranks has been strongly supported by BHP Sport, which is headed by former Liverpool striker and Darlington FC boss David Hodgson.
The division was the first full-service agency of its kind within the North-East, forging links with football clubs both domestically and throughout the world, and is now expanding into other sports.
“Dan has been a true professional to work with and we are absolutely thrilled that his career is progressing so well,” he said.
